To commence the printer setup process, begin by unboxing your printer and proceeding with the following steps:
Insert the badges into the printer according to the step-by-step photo instructions available from the manual book. If you require additional badges, you may purchase from any retailer of your choice that stocks Brother DK-1202 model badges.
Take note that Enidma badges come with a reusable black plastic frame. Please ensure to save the plastic frame for subsequent badge rolls. In the event that other brands come affixed to the plastic frame, it should be noted that they are not reusable.
Ensure that the pre-installed coin cell battery is locked in place by first ensuring that the printer is turned off. Proceed to open the printer cover and remove the insulation seal from the coin cell battery.
Verify that the coin cell battery cover is in the lock position. If it is not, use a coin or any similar object to adjust the cover to the locked position. Note that the battery should always be inserted with the (-) side facing downwards.
Assemble and insert the roll of badges into the printer.
Plug the black power cord into the printer and a power socket.
Press the power button to switch on the printer and ensure that the green status light comes on.
Utilize the [â–²], [â–¼], and [OK] buttons to set your language, time, and date as prompted.
If you are not already on the main screen, navigate there using the [↩] button.
To locate the IP address of the printer, please follow these steps:
Using the settings menu, navigate to WLAN > WLAN Status > Infrastructure Mode using the [â–²] and [â–¼] buttons.
Press [OK] to select the option.
The IP address will be located beside the label "IP Addr." It will be presented as a series of numbers separated by periods, such as 192.168.1.44 or 10.0.1.23.
